SERVE OHIO - OHIO MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS
Dear Volunteer,
In order to become part of the Tristate Medical Reserve Corps, you must sign up with the State of Ohio Medical Reserve Corps on http://www.serveohio.org. By signing up on this site, you become eligible for liability coverage while responding to a declared emergency, are listed on the callout roster for emergency volunteers, and will be able to receive regular newsletters from the Tristate Medical Reserve Corps.
To register for the Ohio Medical Reserve Corps, follow these steps:
Go to the site http://www.serveohio.org.
The registration program used by ServeOhio.org requires that Internet Explorer
be used. Click on the
Ohio Medical Reserve Corps link located in a contents box about
half way down the home page, on the left hand side. The box has a large
heading of "Ohio Citizen's Corps! Strengthen and Protect your Community."
The browser will display a new page. Click on the Register (New Members) link. A separate window will appear with spaces for you to fill out. Required fields will be marked with asterisks (*).
After filling out the required fields on the first page, click the Next button on the bottom right of the screen.
Go through each of the screens in a similar fashion. When all required information has been entered, press the Finish button on the bottom right of the screen.
After pressing Finish, you will be prompted to hit the Next button on the original browser page. You will be automatically directed to an account management page that will allow you to alter personal information. Be sure to write down your chosen user name and password so you can edit information as it changes.

You are now registered with the Ohio Medical Reserve Corps, and are entitled to the benefits, training, and volunteer opportunities that are available to the Ohio MRC group.
You will need to attend the Tristate Medical Reserve Corps Introduction Training and register with the TMRC to become an official member of your local group.
